The Oregon State University Center for Teaching and Learning is excited to welcome three new staff members in time to significantly expand teaching support and faculty development efforts for the 2026-27 academic year! <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"Anish<\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Anish Bhatia<\/strong> serves as the Accessible Pedagogy Coordinator<\/strong> at CTL. In this role, he provides training and support to help faculty combine effective pedagogy with technical accessibility standards for Canvas, files, and media. His interests include faculty adoption of proactive digital accessibility and the intersection of humanized pedagogy, instructor presence, and inclusive course design. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Prior to joining OSU, he taught at UC Davis and several California community colleges. He also supported faculty in digital accessibility, instructional design, EdTech tools, and AI workflows for accessible, scalable course delivery. Raised by a computer science professor, he began assisting teachers with technology at an early age, a role he continues to this day. At the CTL, he works to demystify accessible pedagogy, making course design manageable for instructors and more impactful for students. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"Liz<\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Liz Delf<\/strong> joins CTL as Assistant Director of the AI Literacy Center<\/strong> where she will build on her work as one of last year\u2019s AI Teaching & Learning Fellows by continuing to co-facilitate the popular AI faculty learning communities, developing workshops on AI-resilient assessment design, and building resources for instructors navigating AI in their classrooms. She welcomes conversations with faculty at any stage of exploring AI in their teaching. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Liz is a Senior Instructor II in the School of Writing, Literature, and Film. She is co-author of the OER textbook A Dam Good Argument, which won the 2023 Open Oregon OER Champion Award. She is also the recipient of CLA\u2019s Outstanding Ecampus Instructor Award and SWLF\u2019s Lisa Ede Outstanding Instructor Award. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"Kali<\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Kali Furman<\/strong> is CTL\u2019s Associate Director of Inclusive Pedagogy<\/strong>, providing support to faculty and graduate students on inclusive teaching practices and curriculum design, specialize GTA teaching support, and pedagogical support and development for Core Education. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Kali began her career in higher education working in Student Affairs at Boise State University, which is where she received her bachelor\u2019s degree in history with minors in gender studies and English. Kali came to Oregon State University in 2013 to pursue her master\u2019s degree in women, gender, and sexuality studies, and ultimately also received her PhD in the same program, as well as a Graduate Certificate in College and University Teaching. Kali\u2019s research focuses on social justice education, feminist pedagogy, and faculty development. During her time at Oregon State Kali has worked for a wide range of departments and programs spanning Student and Academic Affairs in professional and academic faculty roles, most recently serving as the Assistant Director of the Difference, Power, and Oppression Program. Across these experiences, her work has focused on equity and social justice efforts in higher education. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
