Norell&#8217;s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.oupress.com\/9780806194691\/the-present-professor\/\"><em>The Present Professor: Authenticity and Transformational Teaching<\/em><\/a>. Together we will reflect on Norell\u2019s insights into how educators can bring their full selves to their teaching, foster meaningful connections with students, and create spaces for growth and belonging, as well as strategize ways to incorporate these insights into our own teaching practices.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Structure<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The Inclusive Pedagogies Book Club will gather once during the term for discussion of the book. We will meet in Week 9, and participants may choose to join in-person or remotely:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Corvallis campus: Thursday, March 5, 3 to 5 p.m.<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Zoom: Friday, March 6, 1 to 3 p.m.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Eligibility<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Oregon State University fixed-term and tenured\/tenure-track faculty who regularly teach credit-based courses are eligible to apply, as well as OSU Graduate Teaching Assistants who regularly teach or assist with OSU courses. This is a Core Ed Continuing Education (CECE) counting experience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Registration<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>To sign up for the book club, please <a href=\"https:\/\/beav.es\/presentprof\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/beav.es\/presentprof\">register now<\/a>. We have 20 copies of the book available on a first come, first served basis.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\" \/>\n\n\n\n<p>Questions?
