The goal isn\u2019t to outsmart AI or to pretend it doesn\u2019t exist, but to harness its potential to enhance education while mitigating the downside. The question now is not whether AI will change education, but how we will shape that change to create a more effective, equitable, and engaging learning environment for all. <\/em>\u2014Ethan Mollick, One Useful Thing<\/a><\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

The Center for Teaching and Learning (CTL) is offering a Winter \u201926 Teaching and AI Faculty Learning Community. Participants will develop and refine teaching strategies to meet the challenges brought about by ubiquitous generative AI tools. This learning community will provide a collaborative space to learn alongside pedagogical specialists, AI experts, and teaching colleagues from across the university.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The learning community will provide ample practice in the use of generative AI tools. Participants will learn about strategies to enhance teaching and learning with AI, while addressing AI-related concerns such as issues with academic integrity and bias.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
