Highlights include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/canvas.oregonstate.edu\/courses\/1965953\/pages\/ctl-guidance-for-syllabus-statements-about-ai-use?wrap=1\">Guidance for developing syllabus statements<\/a> offers options for course-level AI policies and <a href=\"https:\/\/canvas.oregonstate.edu\/courses\/1965953\/pages\/ai-sample-syllabus-statements-and-assignment-language?wrap=1\">sample AI syllabus statements<\/a> from OSU faculty<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/canvas.oregonstate.edu\/courses\/1965953\/pages\/microsoft-copilot-for-the-web?module_item_id=24448246\">Microsoft Copilot &#8211; OSU\u2019s Data-Protected AI Tool<\/a> provides important information to share with your students about logging into <a href=\"https:\/\/copilot.microsoft.com\/\">Copilot<\/a> with OSU credentials to ensure data security and privacy.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The <a href=\"https:\/\/canvas.oregonstate.edu\/courses\/1965953\/pages\/ai-on-campus-podcast?module_item_id=24442901\">AI on Campus podcast<\/a> is a great resource to learn more about&nbsp; the perspectives of OSU faculty and staff, and ways they are integrating AI in their workflows.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/canvas.oregonstate.edu\/courses\/1965953\/pages\/osu-student-conduct-and-ai-guidance?module_item_id=23771569\">OSU student conduct and AI guidance<\/a> gives practical advice from the Office of Student Community Standards and from College Hearing Officers<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Ecampus<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/ecampus.oregonstate.edu\/faculty\/artificial-intelligence-tools\/\">Ecampus Artificial Intelligence Tools<\/a> site offers guidance to faculty with a series of both new and newly updated resources. Check out:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/ecampus.oregonstate.edu\/faculty\/artificial-intelligence-tools\/blooms-taxonomy-revisited\/\">Bloom\u2019s Taxonomy Revisited<\/a> (Version 2.0) is a reference to prompt reflection to identify changes in learning activities and assessments to ensure meaningful learning.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/ecampus.oregonstate.edu\/faculty\/artificial-intelligence-tools\/student-perceptions-survey\/\">Student perceptions of AI tools<\/a> offers recommendations for faculty based on a Winter 2024 survey of learners in Ecampus courses to assess student knowledge, use, and attitudes about AI tools.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/ecampus.oregonstate.edu\/faculty\/artificial-intelligence-tools\/course-ai-resilience\/\">Course AI Resilience Tracker (CART) Tool<\/a> is an interactive tool to evaluate and enhance the resiliency of your course in the context of generative artificial intelligence tools.\u00a0\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Four Key Tips for Fall Term<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Include a clear policy regarding AI use in your course syllabus.&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Discuss your AI course policy and expectations with your students in the first weeks of the term. Give students opportunities to ask questions about the policy throughout the course.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Provide guidance on individual assignments, assessments and course activities to reinforce how your AI policy and expectations apply in each case.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>As time allows, explore generative AI tools such as <a href=\"https:\/\/copilot.microsoft.com\/\">Copilot<\/a>. You learn AI by using AI! Build your knowledge of the potential for generative AI to enhance teaching and learning.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\" \/>\n\n\n\n<p>Check the <a href=\"https:\/\/events.oregonstate.edu\/\">OSU Events Calendar<\/a> to find out about upcoming AI-related events for faculty and GTAs.
