In the words of Cameron Fischer, Human Development and Family Sciences Instructor at OSU Cascades and Summer &#8217;21 learning community participant:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Support and encouragement from colleagues across disciplines.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Inspiration to try new teaching approaches and learning modalities.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Practical teaching advice and assignment ideas to increase student engagement.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Free technological tools, websites, and other helpful resources to strengthen blended learning.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Does Cameron&#8217;s learning community experience sound appealing? Then <strong>submit a brief proposal by Nov. 22<\/strong> for the <a href=\"https:\/\/docs.google.com\/document\/d\/1XY9sKGtJLcd1YdbNQ7NJJJHCBuxTfr_uzZbEjwtlec4\/edit#heading=h.w0nuzc4w0szz\">Winter &#8217;22 Blended Faculty Learning Community<\/a> to join 8 to 12 OSU teaching colleagues in a supportive community focusing on addressing your personal teaching challenges through effective use of ed tech in Corvallis and Cascades campus courses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The format is hybrid with a combination of five Zoom meetings and learning activities on Canvas. Participants receive a copy of Derek Bruff&#8217;s <a href=\"https:\/\/derekbruff.org\/?page_id=3475\"><em>Intentional Tech <\/em><\/a>and $500 in professional development funds for completion of the program. CTL welcomes all levels of teaching experience and ed tech skills.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Space is limited.
