Veteran Honor Ceremony & Reception
\n<\/b>F,\u00a0November 6<\/span><\/span>
\n2 \u2013 4 pm<\/span><\/span>
\nFee: Free for Veterans; $15 ($12 in-city) for all others
\n<\/span>In celebration of Veterans Day, the Center is hosting an honor ceremony and reception for all veterans, no matter which country or branch of service you served in.<\/i><\/b><\/span>\u00a0 This event is an opportunity for our community to show their appreciation for of all veterans. Senior Helpers, the sponsor of this event, will be recognizing each veteran in a pinning ceremony.<\/span><\/span>We ask that all participating veterans provide their branch of service and their country to the Center when they register. In order to ensure that we have enough supplies for all participating veterans, please provide this information by\u00a0Tues., Oct 16<\/span><\/span>. We encourage all veterans to wear their uniform to the ceremony. Refreshments will be served. Invite friends and family to this very special event.<\/p>\n

The Chintimini Senior & Community Center is a community focal point where adults age 50+ gather for services and activities that reflect their experience and skills, respond to their diverse needs and interests, enhance their dignity, support their independence, and encourage their involvement with the Center and the community.<\/b><\/span><\/div>\n
As part of a comprehensive community system to meet older adults’ needs, the Chintimini Senior & Community Center offers services and activities at the Center and links participants with resources offered by other agencies. Chintimini Senior & Community Center programs cater to both individuals and groups.<\/span><\/div>\n
The Chintimini Senior & Community Center is also a community resource. It provides information on aging, supports family caregivers, trains professionals, lay leaders, and students, and develops innovative approaches to addressing aging issues.<\/span><\/div>\n
