The purpose of this blog is to keep the campus community informed of news, upcoming events, and priorities from the Office of the Vice President. In the coming weeks, you will hear about the process of hiring a permanent Vice President for OSU-Cascades. My intention is to return to my previous role as the Dean of Academic Affairs. You can think of that position as the Chief Academic Officer for the Cascades campus. While it is a privilege to serve as the Interim VP, I am looking forward to continuing to build academic excellence in our existing programs and bringing on new academic degrees.
One area in which this blog will be important is in addressing student and staff concerns and comments that this office receives through the Feedback Boxes around campus and the virtual comment forms.
