Volunteering for Albany School District on Bike Safety

Calling all students! The Albany School District is holding 3-hour summer sessions to teach 5th graders about bike safety for the whole month of July. This opportunity is intended to help children get outdoors, and volunteers are not required to sign up for the whole month. You can volunteer a day or two or even leave in the middle of a session if needed. Contact Lisa Taylor at 541-974-0027 for more information or to sign up.

Complimentary Athletic Tickets for 2021 Graduates

Good news for our 2021 grads! Because students were only able to attend a handful of events this year due to COVID-19 restrictions, OSU athletics has decided to provide complimentary tickets to home athletic events for the 2021-22 season to individuals who graduate this year. Ecampus Courses Restriction: Phase I Fall 2021 Registration

The Office of Student Success would like to update CPHHS students regarding Ecampus courses. Starting Fall 2021, the CPHHS will restrict registration access to Public Health Ecampus courses during Phase I of Registration in addition to the HDFS Ecampus courses already restricted. Students can register for Ecampus HDFS and Public Health courses during Phase II of registration. Please visit this website for more information on the Ecampus Registration Restrictions detailing specific courses that are restricted, when it is appropriate to request to enroll in an Ecampus course during Phase I, and how to request enrolling in an Ecampus course during Phase I.

Healthy Community Outreach Fellows

The Moore Family Center has two paid community-based fellowships open! These fellowships focus on health promotion and food security. Students will begin during the summer term and go through the fall. Students are encouraged to seek academic credit for their fellowship hours. The application closes on June 1st, 2021. Food Security and Food Access Fellowship

  • Student technical assistant position
  • Responsible for researching food security/access among college students in the U.S.

The Old Mill Center is hiring a Home Visitor! This full-time position is responsible for providing intensive home visits to parents of prenatal and newborn children in the Linn and Benton Counties. Beaver Connect is looking for Peer Mentors for 2021-2022 mentoring teams! As a co-mentor, you will be matched with a faculty member to lead crucial discussions on navigating college, achieving success, and getting more out of the OSU experience with a group of 3-4 new-to-OSU students. This position will help you make connections with faculty and peers and develop resume-building leadership skills!
