In honor of Latino\/a Heritage Month, the Oregon Multicultural Archives presents\u00a0“The Braceros Collection” a photographic exhibit documenting the Bracero Program in Oregon.<\/p>\n

In 1942 the United States government signed a labor agreement with Mexico that allowed its male citizens to work as farm laborers throughout the U.S. It was known as the Braceros Program. All 102 photos of The Braceros in Oregon Photograph Collection are available online: http:\/\/oregondigital.org\/sets\/braceros\/<\/a><\/p>\n
