The OPEC Training Academy offers high quality trainings designed for OPEC leaders, coordinators, and parenting educators based on the current needs of the OPEC grantee network. The schedule will include a variety of topics by trainers and consultants delivering content in their respected fields of expertise. Training certificates are available for both the live and recorded sessions. Registration is required to attend the live sessions, and space is limited.
All trainings will be held through Zoom. Meeting links will be included in your registration confirmation letter.
All OPEC Hub affiliated staff and educators have access to all the recorded sessions and resources after the live events. Check the video description for the link to the evaluation survey to receive your certificate of completion.

Participants in this training will connect with others and examine the types of questions that are helpful (or not helpful) in our work with families. During the TEACH-O-RAMA, facilitation skills that support positive parent engagement during groups will be explored during a fun hands-on activity.
OPEC Connect & Learn
OPEC Connect & Learn is a weekly series designed for OPEC leaders, coordinators and parenting educators to gather and learn from each other in a casual and conversational format. Hosted by the OPEC team every Wednesday from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. these sessions are a blend of show and tell, hands on activities, and Q&A facilitated by guest presenters from OPEC Hubs. Training certificates are not available for these sessions.
