Due to issues with Zoom, we never actually got to do the panel review for proposals, so I only had access to the 3 proposals that we looked at in my breakout room. I think that reviewing and analyzing those 3 proposals really inspired me to be more creative in terms of what I could do with research in the future. Experimental design was also a major weak point of my proposal, so I really liked being able to read some of my peers’ proposals to see what their experimental designs were like. I also liked reading the different writing styles that people used in their proposals. Overall, the writing styles were very professional, which I’ll apply to future proposals I write as I think mine was a little lacking in that department as well.
