Hello, World! This is the beginning of my blog for CS 467 Online Capstone Project. In this blog, I will be tracking my progress on my capstone project as I work through it this quarter (Fall 2021).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
First, allow me to introduce myself. My name is Josh Nguyen, and I am a Computer Science post-baccalaureate student at Oregon State University. Currently, I reside in Southern California and work as an R&D Engineer at a PVC vinyl film manufacturer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
My main motivation for pursuing this degree was a realization that I had after working at my company for 1.5 years. One, I have a deep interest in cutting edge technology, specifically in the software. I enjoy using my computer and cellphone and would like to make a career working with software. My other realization was that I have a passion for problem-solving and delivering solutions. I believe working as a software engineer can fulfill both of my interests.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
As I have moved through post-bacc program, I discovered that I have taken a liking to mobile apps and front-end development. Therefore, my goal is to land a job in either of those fields before or upon graduating from OSU.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
