Hi! My name is Michael and I’m in my last quarter here at OSU’s online CS program. It’s been quite the journey for the last year and I feel ready to finish this final stretch. I’m from Washington and graduated from UW with a Sociology degree. I’ve been working in the business sector as a program manager for the last 3 years after graduating but I’ve taken this curriculum hoping to transition to tech! I’m hoping that the skills and knowledge gained from my time here will prepare me for a career as a software engineer. I enjoy working more on backend technologies but I’ve recently taken up full-stack development with React which I’ve enjoyed a lot. I’m a pretty active person and I enjoy playing volleyball and pickleball. Recently been trying to get into fishing as I’m trying to take advantage of the great many activities that the PNW has to offer. I look forward to wrapping things up and creating a great capstone project!
