Moore Family Center Food Coach<\/h3>\n

Posts on the Moore Family Center Food Coach are written by interns in the\u00a0Dietetic Internship at Oregon State University<\/a> (OSUDI). The\u00a0OSUDI is a non-credit, non-degree, post-baccalaureate program accredited by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics<\/a> (ACEND). Interns will be eligible to take the national exam to become Registered Dietitians\/Nutritionists at the conclusion of the program.<\/p>\n

OSUDI consists of a 9.5 month, full-time supervised practice program commencing every September and running through June.<\/p>\n

This internship focuses on long-term senior nutrition care, and community nutrition, but also features experiences in traditional venues (i.e. food service, management and community). Comprised of numerous rotations in different healthcare settings under the supervision of 11+ qualified preceptors, this internship prides itself on its diversity.<\/p>\n

Moore Family Center for Whole Grain Foods, Nutrition and Preventive Health<\/h3>\n

The Moore Family Center<\/a> is dedicated to helping individuals and communities live healthier through healthy foods and good nutrition. The Moore Family Center\u2019s goal is to take a multidisciplinary approach to understand the role of all foods, including whole grains, in health promotion and disease prevention. The center builds upon synergies among research, education and outreach\/practice to bridge the science of whole foods and nutrition to its practical application in the community.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
