OSU Extension Master Gardeners refer to much of this content when advising and answering questions to the general public. A new garden content team, made up of OSU home horticulture faculty, has been strategically identifying and publishing new articles to support this need. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Recent articles Master Gardeners may find helpful:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><a href=\"https:\/\/extension.oregonstate.edu\/gardening\/techniques\/how-avoid-spreading-invasive-species-plant-sales-or-plant-swaps\">How to avoid spreading invasive species in plant sales or plant swaps <\/a>(developed in conjunction with Oregon Sea Grant Extension). This article is specific to prevention of passing along Jumping Worm.<\/li><li><a href=\"https:\/\/extension.oregonstate.edu\/crop-production\/soil\/how-do-i-test-my-garden-soil\">How do I test my garden soil?<\/a> Good basic advice on why, what and how.<\/li><li><a href=\"https:\/\/extension.oregonstate.edu\/video\/how-do-i-collect-soil-sample-testing\">How do I collect a soil sample for testing?<\/a> Video demonstrating how to gather a soil sample for testing. (Developed by Dennis Brown, OSU Extension Master Gardener volunteer, Portland Metro Area)<\/li><li><a href=\"https:\/\/extension.oregonstate.edu\/gardening\/pollinators\/should-i-wait-clean-garden-order-help-conserve-insects\">Should I wait to clean up the garden in order to help conserve insects? <\/a>Addressing a popular early spring meme.<\/li><li><a href=\"https:\/\/extension.oregonstate.edu\/gardening\/flowers-shrubs-trees\/heatwave-garden-how-identify-prevent-heat-stress-plants\">Heatwave in the garden: how to identify and prevent heat stress in plants.<\/a> Developed proactively before our recent high heat event, with examples of different kinds of heat stress, and what gardeners can do to prepare and during a heatwave.<\/li><li><a href=\"https:\/\/extension.oregonstate.edu\/gardening\/techniques\/dealing-ticks\">Dealing with Ticks. <\/a>This article was developed specifically to help support volunteers and staff receiving inquiries about ticks in the garden.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Wondering what\u2019s the latest in new articles by the garden content team?
