We\u2019re ready to take your reporting of awards.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>All county-level award submissions should be made in cooperation with your local Master Gardener coordinator. Prior to selecting your counties&#8217; winners, please be sure to <a href=\"https:\/\/oregonstate.box.com\/s\/fye7moafo4jls2xfxxerf2914leypnpa\">review the criteria for each of the awards<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We\u2019ll reveal the county award winners at this year\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/omga.org\/joy-of-gardening-2024\/\">Joy of Gardening Conference<\/a> in July, alongside the incredible statewide award recipients.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">How the county-level and statewide awards differ<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>The county-level award winners are selected by active Master Gardener volunteers in each county.<\/strong> Once counties have selected their winners, they report them to the state using <a href=\"https:\/\/forms.gle\/QFTozKbZbLEvhnzs6\">the <strong>County<\/strong> Master Gardener of the Year award submission form<\/a>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>The statewide award winners are selected through a competitive process<\/strong> at the state level. Each county may nominate one winner or winning team for each of the three awards. A statewide awards committee convened by OMGA and the Extension Master Gardener Program reviews nominations and selects the winners.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Please note that county-level winners are not automatically considered for the statewide awards. If your county wants to nominate a volunteer for a statewide award, you must do so using <a href=\"https:\/\/forms.gle\/guHdfopCYzGUy9iZ8\">the <strong>statewide<\/strong> award nomination form<\/a>. Typically, counties submit different candidates for the statewide and county awards.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">How to submit your county&#8217;s award winners<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>All submissions must be made using <a href=\"https:\/\/forms.gle\/QFTozKbZbLEvhnzs6\">the County Master Gardener of the Year award submission form<\/a>. Incomplete submissions may be disqualified, so take your time and prepare your submission in advance.
