Typescript is really climbing the ranks. I enjoy it more than javascript, c, and java. Though I will say that my python skills are getting better and I have been enjoying using python too. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Some new technologies I am wanting to learn this year is getting really good at postgres or just a NoSQL language. I have been meaning to try it for so long but there were too many other things that I had to learn first. I also am glad I am learning typescript right now. I am using it on my project and it has been really refreshing. It does appear like I won’t ever go back to javascript after this, it feels more right to me. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
This past week has been crazy. I learned so much related to authentication and authorization. Of course I already knew about them but I went one more deeper level by understanding sessions and just manipulating the front and back end to get the data across. I am impressed with how much I imporved vs when I first dabbled in this topic 8mo ago. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
I would like to learn more of the backend going forwards. I am very curious about multithreading and other things of that nature. I learned some in OSU but want to learn more. I need to practice my Java more in order to really step into that area. My plan is after I graduate to really grind on this topic(Java backend)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

How do you handle stress or “getting stuck”?<\/p>\n\n\n\n
just work daily and only for a few hours for everything. Just being able to sleep on it makes everything 100x easier. That only happens if I give myself time to digest things which can only happen if I start early. Not working daily means you have to jog your mind back up and then you need the off time for things to click– it just isn’t work that way for me. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
I learned a lot about cloud technologies this week. Learning about how Dialogflow works and how it relates to ChatGPT was great. I was meaning to look into it. Glad I have an idea on how they relate. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
