1. What am I good at?<\/p>\n\n\n\n
One thing that I know I am good at is time management. During my time in college, I have become very good at time management so that I can be as successful as possible in all areas of my life. Being a full-time student who takes 15+ credits each term, works a part-time job, and also participates in hobbies\/spending time with friends has shown me that I am capable of juggling a lot of things at once while still being successful in all aspects. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
2. What do I value?<\/p>\n\n\n\n
There are two main things that I value. The first thing that I value is money. While I do believe that you should work a job that you are happy doing and is fulfilling, I do believe that there has to be a point where the amount of money that you are receiving to do this job is a factor. Having enough money to do the things that I want or to buy the things that I want is important to me. With that being said, the second thing that I value is being able to participate in hobbies that I enjoy. It is important to me to have a functional work\/life balance. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
3. How did I get here?<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I got to where I am today by allowing myself to take time to figure out what I am good at, what I enjoy, and where I hope to be in the future. I initially chose to go to Oregon State to pursue a degree in Kinesiology, however; after my first year of college, I determined that a degree in business management would be a better fit for me and my goals. I am now in the position where I will be graduating with this degree and pursuing a career that fits me. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
4. Where am I going?<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Following graduation, I will be moving back to my hometown of Bend Oregon to pursue a career that goes along with the degree that I will soon have. I will be starting a new job as a project manager for a commercial concrete construction company. I believe that if I continue to move through life with the same amount of drive and effort that I currently express then I will be successful in not only this job but in all areas of my life. This job will set me up to have the work\/life balance that I hope for because the compensation will be at a level that will allow me to live very comfortably while still leaving time for me to pursue other interests. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
