Knowing that this employee will be filling an essential position, I would say that it would be the smarter decision to choose consistency over potential. With that being said, Jamie would be the better choice for this position because she is consistent which is an important quality to look for in employees as a business owner. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>There are some jobs where high potential can outweigh poor consistency which would be more suitable for someone like Avery. These types of jobs would be ones where you are either self-employed or only working on one specific project at a time. An example of jobs like this could be something such as an artist (music, painting, etc&#8230;) or an actor\/entertainer. These jobs would be good for a person like Avery because they would allow them to have outbursts of high potential for shorter time spans. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>There are also some jobs where high consistency can outweigh low potential which would be more suitable for someone like Avery. These types of jobs would be ones that require a high level of attention to detail or daily results. An example of jobs like this could be something such as an accountant or analyst.
