As a potential employee, I believe that my brand is fairly simple and straight to the point. When it comes to being an employee I want my brand to establish and consistently reinforce who I am and what I stand for. With that being said, that all starts with your first impression. The first impression that I present to potential employers shows that I am open to opportunities, I am reliable, and I am transparent. These three things may seem quite vague but at their core, they show that I am someone who is willing to step up and try new things and take on new tasks while being true to what I believe.
In regards to how I would represent myself in a novel and creative situation wanted ad I would stick to the basics. I would have a clean design that implemented bursts of color that would catch someone’s eye because that is what will initially draw them into reading my ad. With this, I would include short but impactful statements that go along with who I am as a person and a potential employee. Creating this ad would be very similar to creating something such as a PowerPoint. The key to a good PowerPoint for a presentation is to include images and graphics that go along with what you are saying, as well as having brief bullet points that share the main gist of what you are discussing. The main details should not be written on the slides but should be verbally expressed. This same logic would apply to creating an ad. I would essentially be making a miniature PowerPoint presentation about myself.

Hi Evan. I enjoyed reading how you’d use the same skills that make a good presentation in Powerpoint to making a good “job ad” for your personal brand. I agree and think that’s a great approach.
Hi Evan, your discussion post was quite detailed, I think being reliable and being transparent are too traits that employers seek out during the hiring process. I think that employers have a hard time really finding people who actually have these traits. I enjoyed your creative ad about yourself, I think the visual aids would help draw peoples attention towards you ad. Hopefully the description of yourself would be enough for you to get hired
Hi Evan,
I enjoyed your creative notes. your description of “clean design that implemented bursts of color” is just a vivid mental note. I can picture you in every situation within my business with those seven words!
Nice job! Thank you for sharing!
