{"id":24,"date":"2020-08-07T20:51:43","date_gmt":"2020-08-07T20:51:43","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blogs.oregonstate.edu\/madsenv\/?p=24"},"modified":"2020-08-07T20:51:43","modified_gmt":"2020-08-07T20:51:43","slug":"writing-exercise-9","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.oregonstate.edu\/madsenv\/2020\/08\/07\/writing-exercise-9\/","title":{"rendered":"Writing Exercise #9"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Human behaviors that contribute to decreased exposure to microbes:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Method of Birthing:<\/strong> Vaganal births expose infants to more bacteria within the  vaginal canal compared to a cesarean birth<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Use of Antibiotics:<\/strong> Antibiotics are non-specific and target all bacteria, even the good bacteria. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Cleaning\/Sanitation:<\/strong> Kill off bacteria in areas that people touch, thus creating less exposure to microbes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Hand Sanitization: <\/strong>Soap and hand sanitizers eliminate\/decreases microbe presence,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Small Social Circle: <\/strong>If an individual is not surrounded by many people such as siblings or people then it limits their exposure to different microbes. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Time Spent Outside: <\/strong>Being in the outdoors, increases the exposure to microbes, especially in dirt.
