MBA Inaugural Class
On Monday, January 7th, the groundbreaking “MBA in Executive Leadership Program” kicked off its first class hosted by the College of Pharmacy at our Portland campus location in the OHSU Center for Health and Healing.
This program, a partnership between the College of Pharmacy and the College of Business, is specifically designed for Pharmacy professionals who are currently in leadership roles or who aspire to lead. It is the first asynchronous online hybrid program developed by OSU and is structured to match the needs of pharmacy managers and executives whose complex schedules reflect the demands of patient care and executive management in health systems and corporate pharmacy environments.
The inaugural class comprised 11 pharmacy professionals from Portland and surrounding areas in addition to 7 current PharmD students who are part of the newly launched PharmD/MBA dual degree program. It will expand with the addition of 4 additional pharmacists and 2 PharmD students this spring.
