Primarily in English, but also includes other languages.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Gale Primary Sources<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/proxy.library.oregonstate.edu\/login?url=https:\/\/infotrac.gale.com\/itweb\/crlc19?db=GDC\">Gale Primary Sources<\/a> is a universal research experience that combines all of the Gale Temporary Access digital archives in a single cross-search interface. Users may select one, all, or a combination of accessible databases to search.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The platform allows the use of multiple search options and research tools to search across the variety of archives accessible to the subscribing institution. Features include a wide range of search indexes (keyword, author\/creator, document title, subject, place of publication) and limiters (date ranges, content types) to construct searches that best suit the user\u2019s needs. Subject indexing aids content discovery across collections, drawing connections that simple search and retrieval may not achieve.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Digital tools included in the platform include Term Frequency (exploring frequency and correlation of terms) and Term Clusters (showing related terms that commonly occur in relation to the original search term).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The Making of the Modern World<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The Making of the Modern World<a href=\"http:\/\/proxy.library.oregonstate.edu\/login?url=https:\/\/infotrac.gale.com\/itweb\/crlc19?db=MOME\">The Making of the Modern World (MOMW)<\/a> is a very large digital collection of over 60,000 works primarily on economics written in Europe and the United States. It is comprised of two parts: MOMW I (1450-1850), and MOMW II (1851-1914).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Nineteenth Century Collections Online<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Gale Cengage has designed <a href=\"http:\/\/proxy.library.oregonstate.edu\/login?url=https:\/\/infotrac.gale.com\/itweb\/crlc19?db=NCCO\">Nineteenth Century Collections Online (NCCO)<\/a> to be an extensive database with multiple content types, covering most regions of the world. The collection is in a rolling release of twelve modules over several years, with the initial four collection modules (called \u201cArchives\u201d by Gale) released in spring 2012.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Nineteenth Century U.S. Newspapers<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/proxy.library.oregonstate.edu\/login?url=https:\/\/infotrac.gale.com\/itweb\/crlc19?db=NCNP\">Gale&#8217;s Nineteenth Century U.S. Newspapers<\/a> provides access to a collection of 500 U.S. newspapers from the 19th century.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Nineteenth Century UK Periodicals Online, I: Women&#8217;s, Children&#8217;s, Humour, Leisure<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/proxy.library.oregonstate.edu\/login?url=https:\/\/infotrac.gale.com\/itweb\/crlc19?db=NCUK\">Nineteenth Century UK Periodicals Online, I: Women&#8217;s, Children&#8217;s, Humour, Leisure<\/a> provides access to full text of 100 titles and 1.2 million pages from periodicals published in the UK between 1800 and 1900. The resource also offers an extensive library of newly captured images.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Public Health in Modern America, 1890-1970<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/proxy.library.oregonstate.edu\/login?url=https:\/\/infotrac.gale.com\/itweb\/crlc19?db=PHIA\">Public Health in Modern America, 1890-1970<\/a> examines the history of public health policy and services from the late 19th century to the end of the 1960s.
