A) Summarize what is your brand as a potential employee:
My brand as a potential employee is that of an ambitious, hard-working individual, who always strives to be the best at whatever he pursues. I have shown this throughout past work and volunteer experiences such as internships and my experience as the president of my fraternity. My work ethic stems from the way that I was raised, and has developed over the course of my life, through playing sports, earning good grades in school, and striving to outwork my competition in any role that I was put into. My ambition can be seen in my experience in my fraternity where I recognized a need for a hardworking and organized individual in an open position and seized said opportunity without much resistance.
B) Describe how you would present yourself in a novel and creative situation wanted ad if necessary:
If I needed to get creative with the way that I presented myself as an employee, I would first take to social media. I would utilize the tools that I am the most familiar with such as Instagram and Canva to create a unique and visually appealing situation wanted ad. If I chose a still image, the information that I would convey would have to be extremely limited, but I would include some short bullet points highlighting my skills and previous experience. If I decided to use a short video or slide deck, I could include more information that would more than likely act like a shorter version of my resume/LinkedIn. Of course, the purpose of this ad would be to reach a different audience and differentiate myself from a sea of generic resumes/LinkedIn profiles. To do this, I would include visuals that exemplify some of the characteristics that I discussed in the previous prompt. I would put all of this together in a format that was visually appealing and compatible with whichever social media I chose (more than likely Instagram). I think that social media is the best way to attract attention in the modern day, and it can be leveraged in creative ways to make an individual stand out in a sea of generic applicants.
