When I think about what I’m good at the first thing I think of how I’m good at staying calm under pressure. I’ve always been the person who others can count on when things get stressful. If it’s multitasking at work or stepping up when someone is slacking off I can step in and make sure things get done. I’m also good at reading people and adapting to different personalities which helps me lead without being pushy and keep a good atmosphere wherever I’m working. I really value follow through and honesty. I like when people keep their word and treat others with respect even when it’s not easy. I don’t care much for fake energy or sugarcoating I’d rather work with someone who’s real and consistent. I also value a mix of growth and stability. I want to keep improving and taking on new challenges but I also like knowing there’s a solid foundation under me. Effort, kindness, and dependability are things I look for in the people I work with and try to model myself.
As for how I got here it’s been a mix of saying yes to the right opportunities and learning from the hard ones. I didn’t have some big plan starting out I just wanted to work, earn, and grow. Jobs like Dutch Bros taught me a lot about people and leadership in fast paced and high energy settings. Watching how others handled pressure both the good and bad helped shape the kind of leader I want to be. I’ve always paid attention to little lessons and used them to adjust my approach. I see myself continuing in property management and eventually taking on more responsibility and maybe even helping grow my family’s business. I’m not sure exactly what the future looks like but I know I want to be doing work that matters, work that lets me use my strengths, build real connections, and create something lasting. Leadership is definitely in my path and I want to do it in a way that reflects who I am and what I care about.
