What does it mean to be a manager?
Being a manager involves taking responsibility and putting effort towards meeting an organization’s goals. I would want to be a manager who is strong minded, able to make quick decisions for the good of the organization and have effective communication with peers and listen to each opinion in order for everyone to feel welcome. An aspect of a manager’s job that I think would be the most challenging is having the ability to effectively communicate with co-workers and relate to their point of view. There may be one or multiple right answers to a situation, and a manager must know how to listen to other’s opinions. Showing passion towards the organization each and every day could be seen as a challenge for a manager, and one must keep in mind that subordinates look up to them for guidance and leadership.
