But to what end? What might we gain by manipulating light? What aspects of life, human and otherwise, are influenced by the momentary, daily, and seasonal variations in light exposure?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As it happens, quite a lot! Lighting influences visibility, alertness, circadian health, sleep quality, learning, mood, and ocular health.
