I could see a lot of similarities in both of our lesson plans, but I liked how she approached things differently. Notably, I thought it was interesting how when students would make their own music, that they would do so on paper, instead of using Word on a computer. I felt like that was a really good idea as it would likely be easier for some students to do that, and would make the whole lesson more simple.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
It appeared to me that the lesson was also written in the perspective for the teacher to read it, and then teach the whole class. I thought this was interesting because I wrote my lesson plan so that students would be the ones looking at the lesson, and working on it like that. I am unsure what method would work best for this type of lesson, but I could see how the way Audrey approaches it as a good method if the teacher is fairly competent, as they would have more control over showing the whole class how to do each step of the process.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
This week I have been preparing the presentation with Audrey for the Celebrating Undergraduate Excellence digital event this year.
