- My last job application was for my current workplace: MAK Metals. I found out about the position through family friends and quickly filled out an application. I added a cover letter and resume to the application for the company and sent it off to my future employer. This process was really exciting in both an anxious and fun way.
- During my application process I experienced very friendly and quick feedback from the potential employer. While we interviewed they were very professional and kind. This combination of professionalism and encouragement made me to feel that this could be a place that I succeed at. I found that throughout the process I was kept in the loop. Any questions that I asked were treated with respect and answered in kind. All of these qualities led me to believe that this company would be one that I enjoyed working for. Long story short I ended up accepting a job offer from them not long after that. Now, two years later, I am HR Manager at the same company and I try to treat all new applicants with the same professionalism and encouragement that I experienced when I was in their shoes.
