At Coding’s End

Well shiver me timbers. It’s week 3’s post. Last week we created the rules, which are more like guidelines. But this week nobody fell behind. We all plugged along installing Unity and getting an initial stab as doing simple tasks.

The crew seems to be weathering the seas very well. Although at times we are feeling like we dropped our brains. This week I turned gravity on for our player and unfortunately now they walk like a drunken sailor. Savvy?

But I also implemented a simple progress bar and a timer that will help users during gameplay. It does seem like Unity is off the typical map of coding. There is a understandable C# backend but alot of what Unity is, is dealing with the monsters of understanding the Unity UI to make it do what you want.

There’s much more work to be done, so… “Cast Off!”
