For my last job, the description had an important role to influence my decision when whether or not I should apply for the position. The job description is one of the most important things to inform the applicant what they should expect from the job. It plays an important role to separate the applicants because no one would apply to a role that they don’t know of or don’t feel comfortable with. So, the job description has heavily influenced me to choose the last job. In addition, my experience matched with the job description and it was about something that I enjoyed doing, for example, I had skills by working production machinery and it helped me a lot to go over the job making it very similar to what I knew. However, one of the differences was that the job description stated that I had to work in a group of several people. I noticed that in this job I was assigned to be in charge of some people that were on my team and it scared me. I had never had to be in charge of someone else. So, this was one of the main differences that I remember to go through when reading the job description and applying to it.
