Hello, my name is Jiehui huang, and I am currently a senior college student. My major is computer science, and my minor is business. I am taking half time courses for this year, and I will be graduating in June 2023. My time zone is Pacific Daylight Time, and I live in Corvallis, Oregon. 

     I like cats, and I watch movies in my free time. Also, I am planning to apply for a master’s degree in computer science next year, which starts fall term 2023. One thing that motivates me with computers is to build a program that can help people in reality, and it saves people time without repeating steps. It helps people to save their time, and make the tasks easier by using effective algorithms in a program. 

     My journey with OSU was starting with a computer science major, and I think about changing the major with pharmacist in my sophomore year. However, I changed back to a computer science major. In fact, I realize that it will take me a few more years to complete the degree of pharmacists, which I was pursuing for a phd degree. Then, I decided to change it back to computer science major eventually. My current internship is software development, and it is a great opportunity for me to gain experiences in reality. My favorite technology is the iphone, and we can do a lot of things on the phone anytime. It helps us to finish the daily tasks conveniently. Imagine that when we did not have an iphone, and we had to use the desktop to do the tasks. In addition, the favorite listed project in this course is the Wine data lake, and we have chances to learn about how we scan the words from pdf into the database, and we can learn about different types of wines.
