I think the first impression that I want to show to my employer is that I’m a kind person. One of my managers said that “Joe always has a smiley face”. I think that is my biggest strength. I can let others feel comfort even if I am depressed or under pressure. I can smile to face almost everything. On top of that, I am calm too. I can always do things well-organized even if I have a lot of tasks to do at the same time. However, I am not very confident. I always feel others are better than me. When making choices, I always feel that others’ choices are better than mine.
The best way to show myself to organizations is by making a short VLOG by myself. I am running my own Youtube channel and recording videos by myself. So I have the gears that are needed to make a good video. Also, I have the knowledge in video recording and editing. Recording a short VLOG can show my daily life. It not only can let me show my strengths, but also can let organizations know me more when they are watching the video. They can concentrate on my brand, or they can look at the details that they care about. On top of that, I can put my creativity and humor in the video to demonstrate myself in more dimensions. I am a guy who is easy to work with, so I believe that I will be popular in organizations. I will write a resume just like everyone else. But I will put a link to the VLOG that I want to show them in the resume. I believe that will be special and impressive to organizations.
However, it might be risky when applying for a job. But I want to work in a company which is fun to work in rather than a lot of internal competitions. So, I believe that companies which are attracted by my video are like-minded with me. At the end, the most important thing is to show a real me in the video. That is the best way to move others.
