This week we were introduced to the world of Design Thinking and Process Innovation! In class, we discussed the importance of “human-centered design”, and how it can completely alter your creative process. We spent one class time doing “speed designs” of wallets. We also go to know some of our peers in an icebreaker activity where we made a piece of art to represent us. At home, our readings focused on the ins and outs of design thinking and the importance of balancing asking “How” and “Why”. This week has made me extremely excited about this course because I believe I will learn a great deal from this course about its content, and also myself.
