The four companies that I decided to look into were Publix, T-Mobile, and Bank of America. Bank of American employees rally enjoyed that fact that their management was very ethical and honest. They also enjoy how the company makes them feel welcomed when they join. At Publix the employees like to talk about the family feeling and how great the people around them are. I really think this stems from a good HR department because they are there to help make sure everyone is feeling comfortable with those around them as well as helping fix any issues that employees are having internally. Lastly T-Mobile really works hard to have a family feeling environment where everyone is welcome, feels free to speak out and share their thought and enjoy their work. They have many group meetings with managers making sure that everyone enjoys their time. This also shows they have a strong HR team making sure everyone feels comfortable and there are no inter employee issues.
All of these companies also have a great track record with their customers and keeping them happy, satisfied and coming back or staying with them for the long term. Bank of Americas HR team in specific does a very good job of recruiting people who fit in with their goals of finding people who want to work hard while providing exceptional service to their customers as well as giving back to the community.
If I was a manager I would really like to be someone that is easy to talk to and my coworkers feel comfortable to come to me with anything they need. I think that treating everyone respectfully and hiring the right people who want to work hard and be good people would be super important. Also just being diverse and inclusive as well as giving back to the community that I am a part of.
