The keynote speaker for Open Education Day, Rajiv Jhangiani from the University of British Columbia (<a href=\"https:\/\/thatpsychprof.com\/\">@ThatPsycProf<\/a>), introduced <strong>open pedagogy <\/strong>as an instructional strategy to promote reusable assignments and turn students from consumers of content to creators of content.<\/p>\n<p>Examples: <a href=\"https:\/\/pm4id.pressbooks.com\/front-matter\/about-this-book\/\">a book produced by instructor and students from Brigham Young University (2012)<\/a>;\u00a0 <a href=\"https:\/\/wiki.itap.purdue.edu\/display\/INSITE\/Web+2.0+Tools+-+New+Possibilities+for+Teaching+and+Learning\">a wiki resources of web 2.0 tools created by students from College of Education at Purdue University (2012)<\/a>;
