He earned his BA in Math at University of Michigan (1968), MA in Math at Eastern Michigan University (1972), and MS in Computer Science at Central Michigan University (1986). He has taught undergraduate CS courses at Oregon State University since 2002. He retired in June of 2012, but has continued working on the Computer Science Professional Degree Program offered through Ecampus. His second Ecampus course started this term (Spring 2013).<\/p>\n<p>In 1987, while teaching in New York, he accepted an appointment in SUNY Buffalo\u2019s cooperative program with the Malaysian Institute of Technology. That appointment became a 15-year run of teaching computer science in Malaysia, Taiwan, and Japan, before coming to OSU.<br \/>\nPaulson\u2019 avocations include working on old MGs, hiking, and jungle guiding.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td width=\"150\" valign=\"top\"><a href=\"http:\/\/blogs.oregonstate.edu\/inspire\/files\/2013\/02\/millison.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-450\" title=\"millison\" src=\"http:\/\/blogs.oregonstate.edu\/inspire\/files\/2013\/02\/millison.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" \/><\/a><\/td>\n<td valign=\"top\">Andrew Millison has been studying, designing, building, and teaching about Permaculture systems since 1996. He is an instructor in the Department of Horticulture at Oregon State University, teaching the Permaculture Design Certificate Course and the Advanced Permaculture Design Practicum. He has taught through other organizations including Prescott College, the Ecosa Institute, and the Cascadia Permaculture Institute. He instructs Advanced Permaculture Courses in Teaching, and has guest instructed for many Permaculture courses throughout the Western US. He worked for the State of Oregon creating a Permaculture conference and course for Oregon Housing and Community Services, the agency that builds low-income housing. He works with gardeners, developers, university students, and community organizers to promote Permaculture, which he believes is the medicine for Earth&#8217;s ailments.<\/p>\n<p>Andrew currently teaches, consults and designs Permaculture sites. His most recent designs are for a low-income senior housing development, 25 acre farm, 5 acre homestead, and his own urban homestead in Corvallis, Oregon.
