A recent graduate with a <a href=\"http:\/\/liberalarts.oregonstate.edu\/shpr\/philosophy\">Philosophy<\/a> degree from Oregon State, Kate came to OSU to complete a unique <a href=\"http:\/\/liberalarts.oregonstate.edu\/shpr\/academic-programs\/certificate-programs\/medical-humanities-certificate-requirements\">Medical Humanities certificate program<\/a> as well as her <a href=\"http:\/\/www.science.oregonstate.edu\/node\/130\">pre-med program requirements<\/a>.
