We all know a thing or two about Albert Einstein’s theory of General Relativity. He theorized that gravitational waves existed in 1915 but until now scientists haven’t been able to prove it.
Larson, a Northwestern University astrophysicist, is a member of the Laser Interferometer Gravitational Wave Observatory (LIGO) Scientific Collaboration which on September 14, 2015, detected gravitational waves for the first time, proving Einstein correct after 100 years.
