In a clinical trial report written by researchers Chen Et Al, The impact of Helicobacter pylori infection, eradication therapy and probiotics supplementation on gut microenvironment homeostasis: an open label, randomized clinical trial (August 2018) claimed that probiotics help in reducing the impacts of H. pylori while maintaining a healthy gut micro flora. The researchers used patients who were infected with H. pylori and broke them into two, those who would receive probiotic treatment and those who would not. The purpose of this paper is to determine how H. pylori treatments should be approached in order to give medical professionals a better insight as to how to best treat an infected patient. The intended audience for this paper is for doctors, so that they could have a better understanding of the impacts of treating H. pylori infected individuals.
