NEW! <\/u><\/strong>Explore <\/strong>Additional Credentials at the Transdisciplinary Minor and Certificate Fair<\/u><\/strong>
Tuesday, April 21, 1:00 \u2013 4:00 p.m. at the Student Experience Center Lobby<\/strong>
Curious about adding a minor or certificate to your degree? The Transdisciplinary Minor and Certificate Fair brings together 25 to 30 cross-unit academic programs in one place, from humanitarian engineering and environmental justice to peace studies, marine conservation, and more.
Stop by to talk directly with program representatives from across campus. An advisor will also be available on site, so if you’re ready to declare a minor or certificate, you can start the process that same day.
The fair takes place alongside OSU’s Beyond Earth Day celebration outside the SEC, and it’s Food Truck Tuesday at the MU\/SEC, so there’s plenty of reason to be in the area. Grab free popcorn, enter to win prizes, and explore programs that complement your major. No registration required. Just drop in anytime between 1 and 4 p.m. Questions? All Honors College students are invited to a Dean and Friends conversation with Adam Bean, \u201900, on Thursday, April 23 from noon\u201312:50 p.m. PT in LInC 360 and over Zoom<\/strong>. Dean and Friends events are unique to the Honors College and are opportunities for current honors students to connect with alumni and other external supporters about different career paths and professional topics. For this Dean and Friends event, Adam will lead a discussion on the theme, \u201cManufacturing in the United States.”

Come enjoy the company of animals while doing tasks around the humane society! Meet in the LPSC parking lot at 9:30 for rides to the humane society. Snacks will be provided! Fill out this form if interested!<\/a>Survey Responses Needed: Share Perceptions of Health and Safety in Corvallis<\/strong>
Audrey Davis, a chemical engineering undergraduate student is requesting your participation in a survey they are conducting as part of their honors thesis study. This survey aims to document perceptions of the health and safety of recreation in the Willamette River within the Corvallis community. Responses will be kept anonymous and summaries of results will be reported in Audrey’s thesis. The link to the survey is here<\/a>. We’re looking for HC students at events, studying, hanging out on campus and more! Open to all three campuses!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Marine and Coastal Opportunities (MACO) Peer Advising<\/strong>
MACO offers info <\/a>on Coastal courses, Clubs, Internships, Research, and other academic opportunities! No appointment necessary, just drop into Strand 300 on Wednesdays & Thursdays from 2-4 p.m.<\/strong> during weeks 1-9.

WEEKLY! <\/u><\/strong>HCSA Meeting<\/strong>
Join the Honors College Association (HCSA) for weekly club meetings! HCSA is a student-led club that plans activities for Honors College students. HCSA puts together social events, academic events, professional development events, and more. Join HCSA and help make great events happen! The Honors College Student Association holds general meetings every Monday from 5-6:00 p.m. in LInC 343<\/strong>. If you are an Ecampus student and you are ever interested in attending virtually, please email HCSA at honorshcsa@oregonstate.edu<\/a> or contact the Honors College office directly for more information and to get a zoom link. If you see an HCSA event that you would like to participate in from afar, if we have advance notice we can try to send you program supplies\/items to join.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
