The Fish Behaviorscapes Lab<\/a> in the Department of Fisheries, Wildlife, and Conservations Sciences (FWCS) is offering two student research opportunities for summer 2024. The first is the Vanguarding an Inclusive Ecological Workforce (VIEW) Fellowship<\/a>, a paid research program that supports the professional development of future ecologists from communities that historically have been excluded or are currently underrepresented in the field. Previous experience in this field is not required. Complete the Application Form included on the VIEW page and email to FW.internship@oregonstate.edu by Thursday, Feb. 22 at midnight. <\/strong>The second opportunity is a Fisheries Technician Position to assist with conducting fisheries surveys in rivers in La Grande, OR. Through generous support from Dr. Kim Eagle ’76, the HC is privileged to offer students the opportunity to apply for an internship with the Michigan Clinical Outcomes Research and Reporting Program (MCORRP<\/a>). This year there will be 2 students selected. This summer internship program is a 10 week opportunity, from early June to August, at the University of Michigan Medical Center in Ann Arbor. Preference will be given to students in their third year of study within the HC at the time of application. This one-year fellowship offers Oregon State graduate and advanced undergraduate students the opportunity to develop an interdisciplinary creative or journalistic project connected with OSU research.
