The Cooperative Institute for Marine Resources Studies (CIMERS) in cooperation with the Inclusive NOAA Fisheries Internship Program (IN FISH) is seeking applications for an IN FISH participant at their location in Newport, OR. The 10-week internship is paid and includes a 2-week course available for credit.
As an intern, you will gain first-hand experience in big data by analyzing oceanographic data and\/or model output using Python. Beyond the research experience, you will have an opportunity to ask questions about graduate programs and interact with the six state and federal agencies located at the Hatfield Marine Science Center.

Through generous support from Dr. Kim Eagle ’76, the HC is privileged to offer students the opportunity to apply for an internship with the Michigan Clinical Outcomes Research and Reporting Program (MCORRP<\/a>). This year there will be 2 students selected. This summer internship program is a 10 week opportunity, from early June to August, at the University of Michigan Medical Center in Ann Arbor. Alternative Break offers week-long service & leadership programs traveling to several locations on the west coast during OSU\u2019s spring break (March 23rd-29th, 2024<\/strong>).
Join groups of 10-12 students in multi-day, overnight programs in one of three Pacific Northwest communities to learn its historical, cultural, and political background. Engage in a variety of direct service projects, educational sessions, and reflective dialogue with leaders in their respective communities. Stone Soup provides >100 daily free, hot, nutritious meals 365 days a year, no questions asked, in a manner that honors the dignity of each person we serve in our diverse community. We rely on volunteers to cook and serve every meal and welcome volunteers for various tasks including food prep, cooking, serving, and cleanup. Natalie Rooney, a doctoral student in OSU’s Adult & Higher Education program, is seeking students to participate in her dissertation research. To participate, students should be: Low-income (as defined as by self-identifying and\/or by having received a Pell grant); First-generation; In your 2nd or 3rd year of college; Started your freshman year at OSU. Participation involves a short interview (Zoom or in-person) about your experiences as a student.
