Judge Rousseau was named an Honors College Alumni Fellow by the Oregon State University Alumni Association in 2023 and is a member of the Honors College Board of Regents, the college\u2019s leadership advisory group. After graduating from the honors program at Oregon State in 1971, she became the second woman to serve on the Oregon Court of Appeals and one of the first in the country to be a Chief Judge of a state Court of Appeals. At this discussion, she\u2019ll share reflections on how the courts affect us all in our everyday lives and how the role of the courts is changing.
