Looking to learn about research opportunities? Faculty Research Showcases are an excellent way to connect with faculty members, learn more about their research, and potentially get involved in projects that could be the basis of an HC thesis. Even if you don\u2019t yet feel ready to begin research or are not sure about your interests, attending these events help you to explore opportunities and make connections. The Corvallis Environmental Center is looking for two bilingual Spanish-speaking educators to join their team. These educators will play a vital role in both the Farm to School and after-school environmental education programs for elementary-aged children, covering the school year and summer camps. They will deliver instruction in both English and Spanish as necessary. Responsibilities encompass various activities such as classroom cooking education, garden classes, field trips, and leading lessons and games focused on ecology, science, and skill-building during summer camps and environmental education programs. Additionally, the position may involve participation in other education programs, serving as a teacher or substitute when required, which includes Schools Out Adventures, NaturePlay preschool, field trips, and custom education programs.
