Open House Celebration for Fall and Winter Graduates<\/strong>
Are you graduating this fall or winter? Join the HC on Thursday, Dec. 8<\/strong> to celebrate the accomplishments of honors students graduating at the end of this term. Submit your original poetry, fiction, creative nonfiction, and\/or visual art to the UNLV Arts and Literary Journal\u2014open to Honors College students nationwide. Deadline is Dec. 2<\/strong>. (Two OSU HC students had their work published in this journal last year!) Learn more here<\/a>.
Order your HC Graduation Regalia<\/strong>
Are you participating in the June 2023 commencement or want HC regalia? If Yes, to ensure that you have your HC regalia for graduation please pre-order here<\/a> BY Monday Nov. 28. <\/strong>There are special commencement garments that signify your achievement as an Honors College graduate. If you are participating in the June 2023 commencement and you pre-order your regalia, you will be able to pick-up and pay for your order at the OSU Graduation Fair. Roundhouse Foundation Marine Studies Program Innovation Lab Scholarship and Internship Fund<\/strong>
The Roundhouse Foundation Marine Studies Innovation Lab Scholarship supports Oregon State University undergraduate students in their second year or more of study who are participating in a paid internship with the Hatfield Marine Science Center (HMSC) Innovation Lab (iLab)<\/a> in Newport, Oregon. Recipients will be students in any college at Oregon State University who are interested in developing the programs and operations of the HMSC iLab. This scholarship is for up to three awards of $18,640 each. Students must submit their application by Sunday, December 4 <\/strong>through OSU ScholarDollars<\/a>. HC Experiential Award Application<\/u><\/strong>

Project \u00a0& Technology\u00a0Coordinator Job<\/strong> Opportunities<\/strong>
The\u00a0Project Coordinator<\/a>\u00a0will be responsible for coordinating participant payments and communications for the Better Jobs for Young Workers (\u201cBJYW\u201d) Research Study, which to better understand how young adults without college degrees can improve their job quality. This position averages ten hours a week at $15\/hr and has\u00a0flexible scheduling.\u00a0The Technology Coordinator<\/a>\u00a0will finalize the development of a relational database with a connector script using the Qualtrics API to receive information on a survey wave completion and then invite participants to return for the next wave at the appropriate time interval. They will also create front end integration for the relational database to facilitate lookup by the participant-facing team. Are you part of a transracially adopted family? Be part of an HC student’s thesis project, a children’s book on transracial adoption! The purpose of the children’s book is to help transracially adopted families navigate their unique, special and sometimes challenging experience. It will also highlight and represent the diversity of different experiences that exist within transracial adoption. As a participant in this project, you will fill out this<\/a> quick Interviewee Consent Form <\/em>and Pre-Interview Questionnaire<\/em> \u2013both invaluable in shaping the thesis and book\u2013 and you may be invited to participate in an optional interview (this process ends on Saturday, December 10 at 11:59 p.m.<\/strong>). All participants are also entered to win a $50 gift card. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Submissions Needed for the Student Resources Digest!<\/strong>
The Student Resources Digest<\/em> mailings will be starting again soon. This effort is one way that we work collaboratively to make students aware of services and resources available to them.
