When determining your courses for next term, it is vital that you see your major advisor before your HC academic advisor.&nbsp;Your major academic advisor is key in informing you of what classes you must take to stay on track for your major.&nbsp;As a reminder, your HC academic advisor does not provide you your registration PIN.&nbsp;Be sure to connect with your major advisor before your registration date.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"has-text-color wp-block-heading\" style=\"color:#d73f09\">Scholarship Opportunities<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>TOMORROW! Apply for Emergency Aid<\/strong><br>If you or your family has&nbsp;been financially impacted by COVID-19 you may be&nbsp;eligible&nbsp;to&nbsp;receive&nbsp;aid from the American Rescue Plan. Applications found <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/financialaid.oregonstate.edu\" target=\"_blank\">here<\/a>&nbsp;must be submitted by <strong>Tuesday, Oct. 19. Honors College Differential Tuition and Emergency Grant<\/strong><br>The Honors College recognizes that these may continue to be challenging times for Honors College students and their families. We encourage students who are experiencing difficulty paying the costs associated with Honors College enrollment apply&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/honors.oregonstate.edu\/webform\/hc-differential-tuition-grants\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">here<\/a>&nbsp;for a one-term Honors College Differential Tuition and Emergency Grant. Determinations will be made on a rolling basis and will consider both need and the likelihood of earning the Honors Baccalaureate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Inability to pay Honors College differential tuition or other costs should not be the primary barrier to any student\u2019s successful graduation from the college or continuation as an honors student.&nbsp;Approved grants may be for the full HC differential tuition (currently $500) or a portion of it and are for one-term only. They will be collecting menstrual and other hygiene products, such as deodorant and body wash, to donate to the HSRC as well as to Community Outreach, Inc. in Corvallis. <strong>Donation boxes will be placed in buildings around OSU<\/strong>, including the Memorial Union, Student Experience Center, Valley Library, Hattie Redmond Women &amp; Gender Center, Lonnie B. Harris Black Cultural Center&nbsp;and Asian &amp; Pacific Cultural Center.
