We encourage students who are experiencing difficulty paying the costs associated with Honors College enrollment to&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/honors.oregonstate.edu\/webform\/hc-differential-tuition-grants\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">apply<\/a> for a one-term Honors College Differential Tuition and Emergency Grant. Determinations will be made on a rolling basis and will consider both need and the likelihood of earning the Honors Baccalaureate.<strong>&nbsp;<br><br><strong>Inability to pay Honors College differential tuition or other costs this term should not be the primary barrier to any student&#8217;s successful graduation from the college or continuation as an honors student.<\/strong><\/strong>&nbsp;Approved grants may be for the full HC differential tuition (currently $500) or a portion of it and are for one-term only. Honors Summer Study Abroad Opportunity in Argentina<\/strong><br>The University of Hawai\u02bbi at M\u0101noa is offering an exciting Honors study abroad program this summer at the Universidad Nacional de Cuyo in Mendoza, Argentina.&nbsp;The&nbsp;program is open to all current university-level students &#8211; there is no need to apply to UHM to participate&nbsp;&#8211;&nbsp;and offers the opportunity to&nbsp;<strong>earn up to 9 credits;&nbsp;<\/strong>6 in Spanish language credits, from beginner to advanced levels,&nbsp;and 3 in Honors credits through the optional course&nbsp;<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/drive.google.com\/file\/d\/1XAxKgACtr2UibuKo-FQXI4HZhQEBs34l\/view?usp=sharing\" target=\"_blank\">HON 333 Experiential and Scholarly Engagement<\/a>.&nbsp;<br><br>This program runs from&nbsp;<strong>May 19 to June 30<\/strong>&nbsp;and its cost&nbsp;begins&nbsp;at $5,000.&nbsp;The program&nbsp;includes a room with an Argentinian host family, an overnight trip to the Uspallata Valley and the tallest mountain in the Americas, Aconcagua, trips to wineries and museums, and a&nbsp;\u201cGauchos\/Empanadas\u201d day in the country.
