(June 2020) <strong>[This encyclopedia proved useful for all aspects of my Portfolio related to Martin Luther. I was able to utilize it in both my timeline and my definitions pages.]<\/strong><\/li><li>Janney, Samuel. <em>History of the Religious Society of Friends, from its Rise to the Year 1828<\/em>. Philadelphia: Hayes &amp; Zell, 1861. <strong>[This monograph is useful for an in-depth look into Quakers and their interesting beginnings. This was helpful for my definitions page.] <\/strong><\/li><li>MacCulloch,\u00a0Diarmaid.\u00a0Christianity: The First Three Thousand Years.\u00a0United States:<em>\u00a0Penguin Publishing Group<\/em>,\u00a02010. <strong>[Being the course text, this book will remain a treasure in my collection of historical analysis! Almost every definition comes from this well-written monograph.]<\/strong><\/li><li>Moretta, John. <em>William Penn and the Quaker Legacy<\/em>, 2006. <strong>[While I only focused on the beginnings of Quakerism, this brief book provided excellent references from the foundation up until the Civil War.]<\/strong><\/li><li>Pernoud, R\u00e9gine.<em> Joan of Arc By Herself And Her Witnesses<\/em>, 1982. <strong>[Pernoud&#8217;s extensive book on Joan of Arc was extremely useful in setting up her timeline, including the aftermath of her death and her eventual canonization in Roman Catholicism.] <\/strong><\/li><li>Riley-Smith, Jonathan.\u00a0<em>The Crusades: A History<\/em>\u00a0(2nd ed.). Yale University Press, 2015. <strong>[This monograph provided significant key terms and details of the First Crusade and was helpful in understanding the geographical locations specified in the map.]<\/strong><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Check out these sources that proved extremely useful to my portfolio!
