There are many options for recovery for the great wolf population and it all comes down to us. One recovery option is putting the wolf population listed back under the Endangered Species Act or put under the Act for a limited time. This way the species is mandatory to be searched and conserved from going extinct (US Fish and Wildlife Service, 2020). Second option for recovering the wolves in Oregon would be to start a breeding program. The breeding program will allow the wolves to reproduce more of their kind in order to increase their population. Third rehabilitation option would be to educate people about the listing and delisting of wolves in Oregon and how to prevent them becoming extinct. In the end, this will allow people to have a better understanding of how to prevent and what to do when the species at hand is in trouble. Fourth option for rehabilitation would be restricting hunters and creating laws that will not disrupt the wolf packs. In this case, the restriction will allow the packs to regrow and repopulate the state of Oregon. Last recovery option would be to improve the environment that surrounds the wolf packs. For example, would be to improve the amount of debris and logging in the areas of where the population lives.
